To not understand why 16 year old want to look 40

Watching the x factor and my dd16 contemporaries why on earth do they do their make up so they look older than 40 year old, me?

It's so badly applied, heavy handed and just aging and the clothes are terrible.

I think I've always wanted to look about 25.

Sadly, 25 is now a long time ago!

Ah stop being harsh. I was 16 in 1980 and looking back st my huge hair and bat wing tops we all looked old and ridiculous. Grin

If you can't experiment when you are a teenager when can you?

My dds arw 17 and 18 now and constantly amuse us with their fake tans, eyebrows and clothes. It's a fun time. Stop judging.

I'm quite relieved to hear that teenagers are finally making adults go 'tssk' again. What I find far more unnerving is how many of them dress like their parents.

If you are old enough to have a 16 you should be mildly surprised if you understand anything they do. They do rejoin our species eventually. Promise!
