About an hour ago I felt really cold and said so to DH, his initial response was(as usual) put some clothes on -Im sitting here with trousers sweatshirt and slippers on!!! What more does he expect me to put on. Anyway I went to the loo and on my way I have to pass the thermostat control it was on 12( Im all for being green and turn it dowm blah blah) but thought no wonder I have been cold- the poor children were shivering as they goy out the bath earlier and I nagged at them to put dressing gowns on. So I popped the thermostat up to 15 and now hes nagging at me to turn it down. Just interested what everyone elses is or am I just being a wuss!!!!!

No wonder you need to go on so many holidays - to escape from the discomfort of home life!

My dh likes it super-cool,I like it super-warm.I just had to keep plugging away. The heating is always at its highest but we do have that maddening thing where he is turning it down and I turn it up. Have you thought about opening up a real fire.I did and that helped, also thermostat controls.I always have at least two layers. DH goes round in a t-shirt. Its one of those things that makes me want to live the single life,it drives me nuts!
As said earlier,I had to keep plugging away and two years ago either his thermostat changed or he realised what a prat he can be.
One line he hates is if you love someone you put their needs above your own, call it blackmail if you like but it does have the desired effect!

About 18C - but this is because it is on the ground floor, and our main living space is upstairs - and the heat rises loads. I like the house really wam, and this works for me - DH is always trying to turn it down!

At 12-15 I would be wearing a coat!
