its going to be looooong and boring and am also pissed off that they've chosen the frigging kid she nannies for as the bridesmaid, not my incredible adorable dd.

Food not good either. oh and kids menu is the usual shite.

Filly, mine's in brum and he's an absolute darling as is my sil to be [smug emoticon needed] I need to sort out my agoraphobic tendencies then I can get excited about it! They've had a really rough year with cancer and now all is well so I am not missing it for the world!

and still about the food though

I have 2 kids so could split an adult meal between them

2 kids meals are cheaper than 1 adult meal

not suprising since the kids meals are nuggets with trans fats and the adult meals are actual food

Why have such expensive food anyway for the adults? I don't get it. I went to a fabulous wedding some time ago where they served bacon/egg butties.

At our wedding we did pancakes in the shape of hearts. it was fabulous.

you can borrow our portable dvd player if you like

you could have a lot of fun at the wedding as the bride comes down the aisle you could start a teletubbies dvd on portable dvd player full blast, when the bit about anyone having any objections comes up teach your dd to shout meeeeeeeeeeeeeee give your dd nice melted choccy bar during service then after get her to give the bride a lovely horseshoe thing, then get seriously drunk and tell anyone who will listen it should have been your daughter

Oh yes, you are being spectacularly unreasonable, so you might as well revel in it .
Have you chosen them a really ghastly present yet?

well i was thinking of harry potter 7

might have to wait til after the service to give it to them-depending on how quiet the dcs are being and if i can get dp to do all the driving...

Go on to Ebay and get your adorable DD a much nicer bridesmaid type dress than the one the real bridesmaid is wearing. Then push her to the front in all the photos. You could always bribe her to follow the bride up the aisle too and then pretend it was totally spontaneous, the little love just wanted to join in.
As for the food, take a packed lunch of healthy food and ostentatiously produce it when she is hungry (which will be at least an hour before there is any realistic prospect of anyone getting fed).
And definitely read HP7 throughout the day - sort of half-hiding it behind your handbag, but badly enough so people can see what you are doing.

Probably they won't miss your attitude so don't go.

FWIW the only people who think children are adorable are their own parents.

How the hell did this get resurrected?

Seriously, HOW?

Do people do this to wind people up or something? Hmm

Time to start locking threads when they have had no posts for a year.
