Some posts in this section seem to be stories that wouldn't look out of place in a soap like Eastenders. Some posts I read I ask myself can this be true? Or am I just been cynical?

Most of it is bollocks anyway.

There is a lot of exaggeration about trivial things.

Conversely, it seems a lot of people are dismissive of seriously horrific stories of domestic and other abuse on the relationships board, as if such things couldn't possibly happen in reality.

There are several years of my life in which every disaster that could happen, did happen - child abuse, rape, violence, death, drugs, even terrorists. If I told my story all in one go I expect a lot of people would think, yeah right Hmm

Some people have led very privileged and sheltered lives and have little empathy for others who have been less fortunate Sad

I probably mean empathy with or maybe sympathy for.

Whatever, you get the gist.
