Hygge.

Blue DH will be going in all guns blazing tomorrow to sort it out.
Inappropriate statement about guns considering DH is a lecturer in a college.

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 12/09/2016 22:04

Blue What's a condenser dryer? Grin

DontFuckWithMyChocolate · 12/09/2016 22:06

I used to have a condenser dryer, the steam water collects into a container that you have to empty, instead of having to vent it. Means you can put it anywhere.

VanillaSugarandChristmasSpice · 12/09/2016 22:09

Bugger. 12%. May be gone a while.

I'm on 14%, will be going to bed in a bit. My battery dictates what time I go to bed, because that's where the charger is.

Xmasfairy86 · 12/09/2016 22:34

Lol don't me too!!!!

25% good going for me!

PrettyBlueDressForTheXmasBall · 12/09/2016 22:48

AGL as don't says instead of the water vapour going I out of a vent it is cooled and collected, in a container, in the machine, that you empty manually. Some models can now be hooked up to a waste water outlet (like washing machines and dishwashers).

PrettyBlueDressForTheXmasBall · 12/09/2016 22:49

5% and I topped up charge whilst putting DC to bed Shock

PortiaCastis · 12/09/2016 23:01

Oooooooh. What do they usually cost?

HelenaDove · 12/09/2016 23:04

I like it when his hair flops about the place. I like a man with floppy hair.

DontFuckWithMyChocolate · 12/09/2016 23:08

No idea AGL, we had ours given to us, but I don't have a dryer now.

PortiaCastis · 12/09/2016 23:09

AGL This is the condenser I got

Oooooo me too Helena

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 12/09/2016 23:20

Looks good Portia, Thankyou :)

PortiaCastis · 12/09/2016 23:23

AGL I got a deal by getting the washing machine and dryer together but rsally sorry can't quite remember how much of a saving it was. I think about £50

PrettyBlueDressForTheXmasBall · 12/09/2016 23:23

AGL around £200. Beko is the best budget brand for large appliances. Plus beko tumble dryers normally have sensor dry feature so that you don't need to work out timings.

I seriously do recommended co-op for their customer service. I had a faulty fridgefreezer - called in the afternoon and they apologised profusely they couldn't get a replacement to me sooner than 8am the following morning. Delivery men were actually nice and unpackaging is as standard. I've now had, fridge freezer, tumble dryer and dyson v6 from them (and wish I'd known about them before buying my washing machine from the despicable Curry's). All positive experiences.

PortiaCastis · 12/09/2016 23:29

Blue my appliances are all beko and not had any problems with them so far, so yes would also recommend

PrettyBlueDressForTheXmasBall · 12/09/2016 23:32

Also I think all current beko condenser dryer models have the option to be connected to waste water outlet (as well as the standard built in container you manually empty). So in the future you may live somewhere that you can have it plumbed in.

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 12/09/2016 23:37

Will check that out :)

PrettyBlueDressForTheXmasBall · 12/09/2016 23:47

portia all my appliances I had whilst with ex were beko. We had a second hand fridge freezer that was still working when I left him - it was at least 15yrs old. My washing machine and tumble dryer were both beko and 6yrs old with no trouble when I left them behind. Now I have beko fridge freezer and tumble dryer, although I bought a Samsung washing machine (I liked the sound of eco bubble technology Blush and brushless motors with 10yr guarantee).

PortiaCastis · 12/09/2016 23:47

This thread is really funny

I want to buy my mum and dad a clothes dryer. Is Lakeland the place? Anywhere else? One of the heated ones.

PortiaCastis · 12/09/2016 23:52

Blue Mum has all beko stuff in her holiday lets and her house. She swears they're the best for the money.
Like the sound of an eco bubble machine though.
How are you doing with your house search?

PortiaCastis · 12/09/2016 23:55

Not sure MrsTP just googled and they all seem to be Lakeland. Vanilla got one for her dd there so sounds ok
