To buy Dd another dress? Groomzilla.

Family wedding coming up in December. The bride and groom purchased a dress for Dd as she will be a flower girl. The problem is that the dress is far too big as it's a 2-3. It's the right size for her age group in December but Dd is only just outgrowing 9-12 month sizes right now so it's not looking likely that she will fit this dress even in a few months.

I mentioned that it looks big but the groom said that as they are buying the dresses, then everyone (the bridesmaids and flower girls) will put up and shut up and won't ruin "their" day by not wearing them (one of the older bridesmaids is unhappy with her dress and has caused some problems, but that's because of the shape and colour, not the size!).

Wibu to buy her a dress that fits anyway? I would try to find one that matched the style they chose as closely as possible.

So are the bride and groom carrying their flower girl up the aisle? Isn't DD a bit teeny to be a bridesmaid?

Send a pic & ask them what they want to do-exchange it or she won't be able to be a flower girl.

I assume the older bridesmaids will mNage the flower girl - she'll be 2, but a small 2, won't she? Shouldn't need carrying, may well need controlling!

Absolutely agree with ceux above and would recommend her suggestions. Bridegroom is obviously sick of wedding hassle, and so I would suggest you discreetly sort this out.

Sorry *cexu^

Do you hve the dress? Put it on her, let them see what she looks like and let them decide. If they think it's fine and you think she looks ridiculous, I think I would be questioning my daughters part in their wedding.

What if the dress was too small and putting it on would split the sides and the zip wouldn't do up? Would asking for a different size be being difficult then? Are there adult bridesmaids? Has the groom to be bought size 18 dresses and told the size 10 bridesmaids to binge eat til they fit and stop being fecking difficult?
