I'm feeling the love, so emotional I don't know what's wrong with me!!!

Yes I've been feeling sick every single evening to the point that I can't eat dinner, that's when I first thought I might be and then my period never showed.

Congratulations 👶🏼

sillygoof · 07/09/2016 10:27

Fantastic news - and it's actually positive that you feel sick as well, your hormones are kicking in! I was the same with my first. I found second time round that eating little and often helped keep it under control, I even kept a packet of biscuits next to the bed to eat as soon as I woke! Congratulations xx

CostaAddict · 07/09/2016 10:27

Huge congrats!

When I found out I got a small gift box and put an I love daddy suit, the three + tests and his fave footie team baby teddy in it. Not very inventive but it was special to us, especially after months of fertility issues.

Wish you all the best Flowers

TathitiPete · 07/09/2016 10:32

Ooh, I've an idea for telling your DH. Don't Tesco do 'make your own fortune cookie' kit? Write 'you're gonna be a dad' in one!!

Congratulations op Flowers

Pringlesandwine · 07/09/2016 10:43

Congratulations!

And I love Tathiti's idea for the fortune cookie :)

Yep, stronger then the one I had with tescos tests and I'm now watching the result,7 month old lol.
Congrats

HarryPottersMagicWand · 07/09/2016 10:53

Tesco tests are the best ones.

Very positive. Congratulations! I remember that feeling, so exciting! Grin Flowers

Tryingtostayyoung · 07/09/2016 14:15

Agree!! When I was pregnant with DD I used the tesco ones then aswell

Congratulations!

When I showed dh our positive pregnancy test he thought it was a positive ovulation test. Id just woken him up after his night shift. He looked at me a bit weary and bleary eyed, sighed and went "climb on then, babe, or can I have a coffee first?" Who says romance is dead? Grin

Tryingtostayyoung · 07/09/2016 14:35

AudreyBradshaw That's hilarious!!!!

April241 · 07/09/2016 14:46

Congratulations!! Flowers. When I had my positive test it was super unbelievably faint, my OH didn't even know I'd taken it! I sat in the bathroom for ages, then went to the bedroom and held it up at the window before telling him. I just wandered in the living room, he asked if I was okay (clearly looked utterly shocked) and I handed him the test and said "how many lines are on that??"

Wish I'd done something better but I didn't expect it at all!!

Tryingtostayyoung · 07/09/2016 16:00

April241 This resembles my first pregnancy with DD, it was such a shock that we were all just totally (happy but) bewildered so this time I want to do something special as we have been trying for so many months. I can't wait for him to get home, I'm counting down!!!

Tryingtostayyoung · 07/09/2016 16:01

Actually can I ask everyone a question.. Did you tell your children that you were pregnant in the beginning? How long did you wait??

I wrapped up a pair of baby shoes and gave it to my DH. Very cute, tiny ballerinas, I already knew that it was a SHE 😎

oldlaundbooth · 07/09/2016 16:09

Oh yes, BFP!

Starduke · 07/09/2016 16:14

I told DS1 when I was only a couple of months because he kept jumping on my tummy.

He was thrilled and spent the next 7 months calling all tummies "baby" including his own.

However, when DS2 was born he straight away went back to calling them tummies (and calling DS2 "baby" despite us giving him a name as soon as he was born)

YourNewspaperIsShit · 07/09/2016 18:31

Huge congrats, I got my earliest results on a blue tesco test a week before AF and DP wouldn't believe me it was so faint Blush I'd been waiting a long time too, huge congratulations and best wishes for a sticky bean Flowers

Tobebythesea · 07/09/2016 18:37
