Anyone up? Don't think I'll ever sleep again

Omfg I'm up with 15 month old.

He's got a cough and cold and this is the 4th night of no sleep. Literally we haven't slept for more than half an hour day or night.

I've given him calpol, clean nappy, a drink and he's in bed with me with dh sleeping in other room. He just won't sleep, he's just trying to get off the bed jumping on me head butting me and screaming every time I try to lie him down.

I've given up trying to sleep now. I don't think there's anything serious wrong with him, he's happily running around all day and eating and drinking a bit.

Wtf do I do?

Awake coz 7 month old is early to bed and early to rise!. Used to it now.....oo pig - any further news?!. How exciting - hope all goes as smoothly as possible for you!

I am sure sleep deprevation is the greatest torture ever invented.

I seem to have some stress/old lady syndrome where I wake from 3.21 until 5.30 ish, it is driving me insane! Now the Effin pigeons are playing Tag on the roof.

Chin up.....it does end...sometime 😖 My prem baby didn't sleep well for a year and when he did I didn't as his heart regularly forgot to keep going ....but now does 12 hours....sadly I don't!!

My 14mo is doing this as well. There seems to be nothing actually wrong though and is fine in the day! I had put it down to new baby but maybe it's just a phase. Either way, no sleep is not my friend!

we're having a home birth, all pretty relaxed at the moment. Having a last play with ds. Exciting! Keep your fingers crossed for me...

No he doesn't nap during the day it's so bloody hard all round.
