Not only does it have a hashtag but it uses the annoying phrase of "this boy tho"

All yours for the tiny sum of £16.50.

Who wants one?

To those who don't understand it: there's no non-judgemental way to say this (and believe me, i'm trying) - it's a chavvy way of saying 'look at this gorgeous/ sexy person'.

MyFuckingHair · 31/08/2016 21:45

And 'tho' literally means 'though'.

Le sigh.

Soubriquet · 31/08/2016 21:46

Oh dear

This was supposed to be a l**d thread Wink

Now someone has said the c word (not cunt surprinsingly) it will go down downhill quickly

OP posts:
Soapalert · 31/08/2016 21:48

I think it is a way of drawing attention to someone you like/love/proud of. I'm in with the kids!

PickAChew · 31/08/2016 21:48

And there's me clicking on the thread expecting it to be another one about that pork pie monstrosity that M&S were selling, earlier this year.

Soubriquet · 31/08/2016 21:54

Pork pie monstrosity?

Please do show

OP posts:
BrianCoxReborn · 31/08/2016 21:56

It's not "chavvy", it's what everyone under the age of 15 is using to show how amazing their boyfriend/girlfriend/friend/little brother etc is.

I've mentioned on another thread about the picture being posted with the face scribbled out (pic edited to look like the person is trying to hide their faux-perceived ugly face)

So, you would take a picture of yourself with your boyfriend, scribble your face out and then #thisboytho it to "Insta" or snapchat.

MyFuckingHair · 31/08/2016 21:57

Oof sorry. I'm still seething (in a good way) from the 'Fad phrases' thread. I'll just hike up my judgey pants and be off.

SalemSaberhagen · 31/08/2016 22:00

'Le sigh' myfuckinghair?! Jesus christ, that's even worse than 'gives me the rage'.

Le sigh indeed.

Very ironic to slate other people's use of language and then use that fucking monstrosity.

BrianCoxReborn · 31/08/2016 22:04

Why so much rage!? Chillax.

PickAChew · 31/08/2016 22:16

Pork pie monstrosity.

Was also available in flesh pink, which rather enhanced its pork pie credentials.

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 31/08/2016 22:22
Shock

That is indeed a monstrosity.

Is it not part of a dressing up outfit representing some kind of deep sea creature?

HoneyDragon · 31/08/2016 23:23

Brian I'm reporting you for using offensive language. It's for your own good.

Oh God, I clicked on the pork pie and I've now realised it's going to follow me round the internet for days.

BestBerkleyBee · 31/08/2016 23:47

Eww

ComputerUserNotTrained · 01/09/2016 00:13

Last year I insisted on referring to dp as "Bae", so I am absolutely certain I'd buy this t-shirt for my ds (if he wasn't 16 that is).

I also clicked on that cocking pork pie tho Angry

ArmySal · 01/09/2016 00:21

Twice in an hour I've read 'Le sigh' on here, what does it even mean tho?

CheshireChat · 01/09/2016 00:32

I'm doomed- I like that blouse! Would look pretty good in a romantic goth combo.

Don't like the T-shirt tho(ugh)!

BathshuaSpooner · 01/09/2016 00:54

It's much nicer than that fucking THOT that seems to be cropping up here in the US (That Ho Over There)

VioletBam · 01/09/2016 00:55

It means "This boy is amazing/cool/hot"

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 01/09/2016 01:02

Meh - I saw a little boy with a 'porn star' t-shirt a few years ago. Now that's offensive.

HobnailsandTaffeta · 01/09/2016 01:05

I think "Tho" can be used positively or negatively to point something out/emphasise it?

So

"That shirt tho 😂" >> pork pie monstrosity

Or

"That face tho 😍" >> David Tennant

BrianCoxReborn · 01/09/2016 01:12

Why?

For not bein dahn wiv day kidz innit.

(It took me several attempts to type "innit" before auto correct accepted it. My Kindle is not very Street)

ParanoidGynodroid · 01/09/2016 01:20

I tried it on my teenage DD - "That dog tho" I said. She looked puzzled.
I quite like it actually, and may see if I can work it into everyday usage.

I've also read 'le sigh' on here a few times today. It's kind of le annoying.
