Barber bruises AIBU?

My 8 year old DS has Aspergers and having his haircut is a big deal for him. It took a lot of persuading but today he went for his haircut, it wasn't his usual barber but ds did very well and carried on. During the cut he was complaining it was hurting (which he usually does as he doesn't like the noise/sensation of the clippers etc) I gave him my phone to distract him from a meltdown and he barber carried on..

Anyway later on this evening ds has 2 finger size bruises appearing on his forehead (I'm assuming where the barber was holding his head). He doesn't bruise easily so to be honest I'm livid!! AIBU to want to go back in to the barber and give him a piece of my mind?! Has this ever happened to anyone else? I'm so annoyed I don't quite know what to do right now..!

I used to be a hairdresser and it could be finger marks . The barber would have had his thumb on the back of your sons head with his fingers on his forehead.

Like this

In order to keep his head tilted forward.

Could the barber have had some product on his hand that caused a reaction? I'd assume they would wash hands between customers but perhaps he didn't or used something that's irritated irritated your ds's skin.

Did you notice the barbar holding his forehead at those two, points?

Did ds knock, his head in te shower or another time?

Could it be bites as someone has suggested?

Looks an unusual place for finger marks when cutting hair. Could it be a reaction to something?

Ha ha glad it is sorted and not the hairdresser!

Slightly off topic - but my DS hated going to the barbers. Haircut was always a disaster as he screamed, said it hurt etc. He was later diagnosed with HFA.

We bought a set of clippers in Boots and do his hair ourselves at home.

He is now getting to the stage where he wants a trendier haircut so will have to go back to the barbers soon, I think. But as he is older now, we can probably get there!

However, it might be an idea for ongoing haircuts.
