Jeez family friend has just had PFB we are getting chapter and verse of everything the little angel does. Now PFB just shat all over the DM after injections and she's posted a pic on FB. I've now unfollowed. Really is anyone that interested!

OP posts:
Amelie10 · 23/08/2016 14:46

Oh gross, did she post the picture of the disgusting mess too?

pennygoodlife · 23/08/2016 14:48

Yes all over her top! Honestly we've been through every baby related thing from mastitis, colic, sickness, lack of milk, every ounce of growth and whilst all newbies are gorgeous I can't help thinking mum is a tad OTT

OP posts:
TestingTestingWonTooFree · 23/08/2016 14:48

A photo of a poo? I'd have posted a link to stfuparents before unfollowing.

Eatthecake · 23/08/2016 14:53

Meh! She's not hurting anybody with her posts, if you don't like the posts I believe you can hide them

She's an excited, first time Mum. It's natural to think your baby is the best thing ever and for a lot of people all they talk about and post about in those first few weeks espically is the baby

OutOfAces · 23/08/2016 15:08

Hahaha for some reason I initially read that as the baby had pooed all over the Daily Mail and I thought what good taste the baby has!

But yes you're quite right, nobody wants to see that.

SpecialAgentFreyPie · 23/08/2016 15:13

Overshare. Serious, serious overshare. Facebook is already too much information without adding 'look - my baby can poop! - into the mix.

Did you get photo updates with everything else? RE mastitis, colic etc? Grin

Drbint · 23/08/2016 15:16

It's natural to think your baby is the best thing ever

Big difference between that and posting a picture of someone's top your baby's shat all over. That's just weird.

Bogeyface · 23/08/2016 15:19

Some people overshare on FB regardless, so when they then have a baby which people are actually interested in, the oversharing goes into meltdown. Sadly there is nothing you can do about it other than unfollow.

Or make some remark about "Thanks for that, was just about to have my lunch!" before doing so.

PurpleDaisies · 23/08/2016 15:20

Wow. That's highly unusual behaviour.

pennygoodlife · 23/08/2016 15:30

We've had everything in graphic detail but normally sick covered clothes is as far as the pics go but this one takes it too a new level. I mean what can you say you definitely can't 'like' Defo TMI.

OP posts:
ThumbWitchesAbroad · 23/08/2016 15:32

Definitely TMI. Reminds me of a long distant comedy sketch by Hale and Pace - the new parents couldn't stop discussing little Johnny's toilet habits (and anything else related to little Johnny) including telling the dinner hostess that the chocolate pudding reminded them of one of little Johnny's poos! (Fairly sure I'm remembering that correctly, it's been a while)

SpecialAgentFreyPie · 23/08/2016 15:39

This is one of those scenarios where I think the adult really hasn't thought it through. After all, the internet is forever. How devastated would this girl be if this pops up in a few years?

But on a practical note - I really couldn't stand covered in poo, grinning inanely while someone took my photo.

If a childless person did that, we'd lock them up.

glitterwhip · 23/08/2016 15:43

Sorry for my total ignorance here but what is a PFB?

Amelie10 · 23/08/2016 15:44

Meh! She's not hurting anybody with her posts,

Well yes but she is disgusting people out. Being a new mother doesn't mean you lose your sense of boundaries.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 23/08/2016 15:45

PFB = precious first born

JinkxMonsoon · 23/08/2016 15:47

I unfollowed a friend on Twitter when she posted a photo of her toddler's shit in a potty. It resembled an animal, apparently.

glitterwhip · 23/08/2016 15:53

Oh lol pictures of poo and puke on Facebook are definitely crossing a line when it comes to updating people about your perfect little snowflake..tmi

April241 · 23/08/2016 15:58

That is a bit much, I unfollowed (or maybe unfriended) someone a few years ago because they put on a gushing post about their daughter finally doing a poo in the potty and praising her, saying now much she loved her and how proud she was. Hmm

SpecialAgentFreyPie · 23/08/2016 15:58

You need to submit her crazy lady photo to STFU parents Grin

Ezzie29 · 23/08/2016 16:01

I do think people need to seriously consider the ramifications of posting those kinds of pictures - as someone has already said, the Internet is forever (even if it gets deleted) and I really wouldn't be happy if i was a teen in however many years time and everyone had seen my childhood poop explosions.

JacquesHammer · 23/08/2016 16:02

And yet that video of the dad changing a nappy and retching and photos of a dad getting pooped on whilst having a photo taken went viral......

Its grim. But she isn't the first.

NoCapes · 23/08/2016 16:08

My kids are the best ones in the world naturally
But shit is shit and nobody wants to see that!

pictish · 23/08/2016 16:20

I have a FB friend who has made a lot of references to her childrens' poo over the years, whether it's talking about tummy bugs, constipation or accidents. I know it's harmless but I do have to wonder who the hell she thinks cares or needs to hear about it. Yuck.

PurpleDaisies · 23/08/2016 16:21

I know it's harmless but I do have to wonder who the hell she thinks cares or needs to hear about it.

Doesn't that apply to about 99% of what's on Facebook? Grin

pictish · 23/08/2016 17:02

Very true.
