I hate it so much.

The best episode was where Mr Fisher gifted them a rabbit. Now in real life, you'd accuse Mr Fisher of being a total cunt for gifting a live animal in front of the kids that would make you the bad guy if you said no. Oh and he didn't even include a hitch. Prick.

Kitkatandcake · 20/08/2016 21:12

I also secretly have a girl crush/bitter jealousy towards the Mum. It would be a twisted relationship where my only goal would be to find something to make her explode in a fit of rage. In our house that's 90% of whatever my kids get up to.

overworkedundersexed · 20/08/2016 21:13

Kitkat I like the idea of a realistic voiceover, I'm going to try that tomorrow.
Does Joy work?

I bloody hated Terri Dwyer. She doesn't seem to be acting any more though so I direct my venom towards his actual wife Grin

LucilleBluth · 20/08/2016 21:16

I call Tony Welch, Turdy Welch :)

Toddlerteaplease · 20/08/2016 21:16

Inspired by this thread I've just watched two minutes of the 'getting better' episode where Topsy is in Hospital. I'm a paediatric nurse and The red mist has descended! My ward is not so neat and tidy and no child talks to the nurses like that! Oh and the blood pressure cuff is far to small and in the wrong place. (And that's if you e managed to get it on the child in the first place!!!) Angry

HarryPottersMagicWand · 20/08/2016 21:19

I hate that everything has to have the word 'twin' in front of it. They act like they are the only ever people to produce bloody twins. Twinfuckery.

Maybe that could be in a new episode, "do one with your twinfuckery" screams the mother as her tranquilisers finally run out.

HarryPottersMagicWand · 20/08/2016 21:20

"Turdy Welch" 😂😂

belleandsnowwhite · 20/08/2016 21:21

The one when the nursery class goes to their house. Did they do a risk assessment before hand?

ASAS · 20/08/2016 21:31

Ha ha that's right. The whole class!

Did ye, aye?

AlexandraEiffel · 20/08/2016 21:49

I watched Topsy and Tim when pregnant and sick, and just being in the room when it's on brings on nausea again. I have to leave the room

Applejack29 · 20/08/2016 22:34

do you have 5 friends called Tony? No, then je doesn't need to be referred to as Tony Welch every sodding time! Grin

WalkerBait · 20/08/2016 22:40

I've been stuck in bed with a post op ds

If I hear twintastic one more time I will smash my TV ahhhhgAngryAngry

NapQueen · 20/08/2016 22:45

I fantasise that "gin Blogger" woman squirrel ing away T&Ts mum on a fake hen do and getting her tanked on long islans iced tea (it's just fun tetley) and it unleashing all sorts of shameful secrets she can't keep in drunk. And maybe a game of Never Have I Ever.

BellMcEnd · 20/08/2016 22:47

Twattastic more like.

Gives me the rage every time Angry

CruCru · 20/08/2016 22:52

You know why she's so "nice"? The mum is clearly having an affair and is "nice" out of guilt.

There was the chickenpox episode where her friend couldn't get hold of her. Aha!

dannydyerismydad · 20/08/2016 22:53

Why does granny speak in a little old lady voice when she's only about 45?

The episode when mummy had been away and they were so excited to have her back - she had clearly been to rehab.

kate33 · 20/08/2016 22:59

So happy about this thread!
Tony Welch is a very destructive little sod/accident prone child isn't he? Every episode he destroys something. Doesn't bother Joy though does it. I think she used to play quite a minxy character on channel 5's Family Affairs. I have to admit I would like to be a bit more Joy like, never raises her voice, house always perfect, kids never fighting etc but then could I really put up with those awful twintastic twins and soppy bollocks dh?

ChewBecca32 · 20/08/2016 23:13

4 year old dd is poorly and so have watched multiple episodes on catch up in last few days. At one point she asks if I can find the one with Grandmas dog in it "but not the one where he's dead"! What?! Mossy dies? (Yes over invested)

windygales · 20/08/2016 23:16

I hate the episode where they go out for the night, the next day, washed and dressed joy wakes up the kids and opens the curtains. Er when I go out the next day I'm trying to get a lie in and handing the kids an iPad so I can sort my hangover out

Airandmungbeans · 20/08/2016 23:16

Topsy and Tim have a lot to answer for here. A few days before we moved house, the moving house episodes were on. On the day of our move I had to contend not only with the stress of packing up the lorry, but also a two and four year old who were in tears because none of our neighbours brought them a sodding rabbit Angry

avocadosweet · 20/08/2016 23:17

I told DD1 the tv is broken so she can't watch Topsy and Tim anymore. I like some things on Cbeebies but it is dire and DD gets very offended when I say it's rubbish!

Lilacpink40 · 20/08/2016 23:27

"Then mummy made us a perfect breakfast, then mummy took handfulls of her happy pills and knocked them back with half a bottle of vodka"

She must be doing something to be that spaced-out happy.
