Just that really. Marmite should only be eaten on toast - not plain bread. I just found out that some people eat it on untoasted bread. Surely that's just wrong.

This is making my mouth water! Always used to have Marmite sandwiches in our packed lunch at school. Either that or tomato sauce!

I've never ventured further with cheese or anything though - maybe I'm missing a whole different life?!!!

Marmite on cream crackers wins. No butter, as that spoils the fun, a couple of pickled onions adds to the fun.

My husband is a believer in toasted cheese and marmite sandwiches, or cheesy crumpets with marmite applied liberally on top. I can just about cope with him eating those. He did once try to put marmite on freshly baked cheese scones and we had words...

I remember as a child having Jacob's cream crackers (with the little holes in) spread and marmite on them and then squeezing the spread and marmite through the holes to the other side. Was pure joy
