to wonder how so many people manage to stand blocking entrances, completely oblivious of other people!?

Today I have tried to enter two different shops and both times there were people standing in the doorway, completely oblivious to the fact that people were trying to get in and that they were blocking their way.

I am always so conscious of people around me and not standing in peoples way as it makes me feel uncomfortable and is obviously inconsiderate but I find so many people seem to be completely oblivious to the fact that they don't exist in a vacuum. Not really an AIBU but just a little first world rant, humour me.

Unless was the same dog as there is a Cancer Research arounf the corner from the Oxfam Grin

to be fair it was a hot sunny afternoon and the dog had squeezed himself on the only bit of shade his lead let him reach and that was the doorway...

I get annoyed with people on my commuter train who sit in the aisle seats, tut when I squeeze past to sit on the window seat and then tut again when I need to get off. My stop is last but two. IF YOU ARE STAYING ON UNTIL THE END OF THE LINE, SIT BY THE WINDOW OR BE PREPARED FOR PEOPLE TO WANT TO SIT THERE!

sitting on a commuter train? What magic world is this you live in?

I'm glad I am not the only one who thinks that Holborn Underground attracts these types!

I suppose equipping the staff with electric cattle prods would be OTT?

Ifailed- I also get annoyed when someone stands in front of a seat thus making it difficult for anyone else to get past or sit down.
I start work early....

Today I was on a bus and no only was some pillock sitting on the outside seat instead of the empty window one but he was manspreading into the aisle so it was difficult to get past him. Totally oblivious to me having to go sideways to get past him, arghhhhh.

Last week while doing my shopping, coming to the end of an aisle 2 women had the end blocked with trolleys deep in conversation. I coughed lightly, got no response. I said 'excuse me' loudly. Both stopped talking, looked at me then continued on talking neither moving an inch. So I said 'excuse me' loudly while ramming my trolley up against theirs till i got a gap through.

I hate people who think of no-one but themselves.

My competitive two year old races to get through any door before me, effectively making himself a trip hazard. It is particularly bad in a static caravan as the door ways are narrow and there's not much room to stumble and fall without squashing one of my other dc.
