To think mumsnet need to tell people about the bookmark feature?

Threads are filled up with people placemarking, it's really annoying when there is a perfectly good bookmark feature that takes you back to the last post you read up to on a thread. Please mumsnet do a post on this!!

I've been and turned it on, I don't placemark anyway but would find it useful to be able to go straight to where I finished reading to.

So its turned on but its not clear how to actually bookmark the post. Do I just tap the post or need to select something?

On the mobile site you click the little dots on the post to bring down the menu with bookmark on, and the iPad app you swipe to get the option.

How to you find your threads that you bookmark if you don't put them on your watch list?

I'm talking about bookmarking a certain point on a thread that is on your watch list, so when you want to carry on reading you don't have to scroll down through hundreds of posts to find where you got to.

It's the three little dots under everyone's posts. Click it and you get report, bookmark, profile etc. It's been well handy on the zoominder thread!

On iPhone you can swipe any post left and get three options (bookmark, report, share). Doesn't have to be the last message.
Someone has previously commented that you can highlight only OP's posts on a thread. Does this only work on desktop version. If yes how and if it works on app - how???? Would be so helpful to know. Thanks.

On a tablet but use the desktop site.

If I swipe left it reduces my screen to multi tasks screen and I don't have 3 dots.

Thanks look I need to tap it once and it'll say bookmark, then have to tap it again to save that bookmark. Thanks for your help.
