I think I already know the answer....but I'm OK with it! Grin

Mitzy** how was he rude to your mother, out of interest? Confused

DoNotBlameMeIVotedRemain · 01/08/2016 16:13

Shock that he bit a homeless man's ear! I've always liked him too but that's really upset me.

Rosae · 01/08/2016 17:54

He was my first love and I still adore him....

jmh740 · 01/08/2016 22:02

I used to really like him but heard quite a few times he's not very nice in real life.

wowfudge · 01/08/2016 22:04

I heard he was not a nice guy from someone who studied with him. Could have been sour grapes, but I don't think it was.

Squeegle · 01/08/2016 22:05

YABU. Yes indeed he once bit a tramp. He also once mocked me on an easijet flight when I was reading Cinderella to my DD. He is not a nice person

WordGetsAround · 01/08/2016 22:08

YANBU. Alan Davies, however, is a twat.

CherryPicking · 01/08/2016 22:13

Yanbu. Always quite fancied him meself. Not sure why though !

CherryPicking · 01/08/2016 22:16

He bit a homeless man's ear?! Angry just confirms I'm always attracted to utter gits. Even on telly. Don't listen to my previous comment, OP. It turns out we're both BU.

Onedaftmonkey · 02/08/2016 00:09

It's not a perm!

MitzyLeFrouf · 02/08/2016 10:56

sophie1985 she and her sister spotted him somewhere in London and my aunt (who is a very sweet and quite timid woman) told him 'oh we love your show'. He told them to fuck off.

Yes I'm sure having people come up to you all the time can get a bit dull but don't tell two 70 something women to fuck off.

WalrusGumboot · 02/08/2016 11:00
Shock

I always disliked him, looks like my spidey senses were right!

KellyBoo800 · 02/08/2016 16:24

I am now hanging my head in shame Sad

OP posts:
WalrusGumboot · 02/08/2016 16:31

Don't feel too bad OP. There are many men in this world who aren't nice people but are physically attractive. Sad but true.

hellsbellsmelons · 02/08/2016 16:31

I love JC.
I also quite liked AD until right now!
He was hilarious live.
I've not laughed so much... ever....
Jimmy Carr however, was feckin' awful.

DoNotBlameMeIVotedRemain · 02/08/2016 16:31

Mitzy - he sounds unhinged. What s rude, horrible man Angry

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 02/08/2016 16:58

Paddington's still all right though right?

Right..?

Squeegle · 02/08/2016 20:46

I am always surprised at how much Stephen fry seems to get on with AD, as Stephen fry is universally acknowledged as a lovely person

MitzyLeFrouf · 03/08/2016 10:09

'Stephen fry is universally acknowledged as a lovely person'

He is? Fry seems to piss a lot of people off as far as I can see.

WalrusGumboot · 03/08/2016 10:37

I can't stand Stephen Fry but he plays a lot of very funny parts.

Squeegle · 03/08/2016 23:40

Does he? Who has he pissed off?

WalrusGumboot · 04/08/2016 05:05

A search of his name in here reveals several thread where MN ers discuss their dislike for him. I thought there was one quite recently actually but can't find it now.

GhostsForge · 04/08/2016 18:10

A very lovely friend of mine tricked me into admitting that I fancied AD as JC about 15 years ago. She still teases me. It's a fair cop... (Flowers if you're reading, lovely friend!)
