To be bloody proud of myself!

I haven't worked in about 7 years and recently managed to get a job close to my field in the NHS where I know I can work my way up again.

My family are shit and don't care...not even a "good luck" or "well done".., but I'm so proud of myself. I have 3 kids, and managed to negotiate hours that suit me and my family life. I have so many opportunities ahead of me now.

Just finished my first full week and feel great! I never thought I'd be capable of working again or if anyone would hire "someone like me".

Ah thank you for all your kind words. I know this is only online but it really helps reading the lovely comments to boost my confidence.

I had loads of excellent advice on here about negotiating hours so I couldn't have done it without MN. Thanks to you all FlowersFlowersCake
