Who donated money on the back of the wedding dress thread for the children we're hosting this summer (well, now...) from Belarus.

The original thread has vanished and I don't have a copy so can't add anything on there, but please know that I, the families and the children are eternally grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to us in what are very difficult times for many.

Im more than happy to post pictures etc on our days out, and we had a lovely day on Sunday at the BBQ at my house, when the lovely Woolly Hugs folk came too.

Anyway, I just wanted you to know how grateful we are.

We're going ice skating on Saturday and to the seaside on Monday - ice-creams ahoy!!!

Missed the finished dress too, was hoping for at least non identifying before and after technical shots but sounds unlikely now.

Going to the hotel on August 13th - can't wait! Might even get to go frock shopping as my daughter wants some new stuff (she's not going to the hotel but wants clothes, haha)

So this afternoon we've hired the local ice rink for the children, they gave me it half price and it includes skate hire etc, they are all very excited!

And thanks to you amazing folk, on Tuesday all the children are going to London for the day! British Rail have donated the train tickets for free, and we have book a river cruise, they'll see Buckingham Palace, and the Harry Potter trolley and platform 9 3/4 along with loads of other stuff. (We have the HP film in Russian for them to see, so they're really excited about that!)

The dentist was utterly horrendous yesterday, 38 fillings, one extraction, one child collapsed F and three of them need to go back for more doing. Right now, all 8 of them hate me...tbh I hate myself for putting them through it.
