I really want one but I can't spend £8 on myself as it'll just be wasting the extra food to meet delivery minimum. Would it be bad to wake him up to get him to have one with me. He's not working tomorrow so he'll be sleeping in anyway

Do people really eat in the middle of the night?! I'd be an absolute heifer if I got into that!

Only1scoop · 26/07/2016 08:17

That looks grim Confused

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 26/07/2016 08:20

Each to their own and all that but eating heavy food at 3.00 in the morning seems daft, where's your self control?

ExtraHotLatteToGo · 26/07/2016 08:35

Oh dear God, if you WOKE me in the middle of the night for anything other than a life or death emergency or very good sex I'd KILL you with my bare hands and if you had something that smelt as bad as that looks I'd throw up on you first.

Thank fuck you don't live with me.

Hope you enjoyed it 😁

Mamadothehump · 26/07/2016 08:50

Good god, I thought people only ate shit like that at that hour after an all nighter, too pissed to think straight!!

rollonthesummer · 26/07/2016 08:52

Couldn't you have just had a bit of toast?!

Beanzmeanzcoffee · 26/07/2016 09:08

I work in a&e and used to do a shift from 6-2 and lived an hour away from work. My DH is still ranting about the time around Xmas I crawled into bed at 3am holding a cheese and ham toastie (vintage cheddar with homemade honey& mustard roasted ham). It was too cold to sit anywhere else. He was most put out i hadn't made him one.

Gottagetmoving · 26/07/2016 09:25

It looks disgusting but probably tastes brilliant. Even so,..I would hate to be woken up to eat it, especially in the middle of the night.
I didn't even know people did this. There must be a whole world going on during the night I am totally oblivious about.

Floggingmolly · 26/07/2016 09:50

Why would you eat that ever in the middle of the night? Confused

JohnLithgowsLargeForehead · 26/07/2016 09:53

I wouldn't want one at that time because I'm never hungry then but don't get the shocked replies.. People are awake at all kinds of times and the OP was right to ask as he did want one Grin
Parmo sounds amazing.

Floggingmolly · 26/07/2016 09:57

He wasn't awake...

JohnLithgowsLargeForehead · 26/07/2016 10:07

I meant the OP.

NewNameNotTheSame · 26/07/2016 10:10

Jesus, I declared it too late for a takeaway at 10pm a few nights ago, and I'm a right greedy mare. Could you not have just had toast or a sandwich and gone to bed? I get my head around being asleep and happily agreeing to a takeaway after being woken in the early hours of the morning, even if I was drunk before falling. I'd have had a shite sleep and woken up with carb bloat, hardly worth it for a probably just okay end of the night reheats takeaway!

ImNotJoeMyNameIsHarry · 26/07/2016 18:23

It's cheesy chicken really. He loves it. And there's one in Middlesbrough open late. Wasn't that great but bether then cooking.

In my defence I've been recovering from a sickness bug so I was taking advantage of finaly wanting to eat.

I agree Parmo looks disgusting, but I promise you it's delicious. It's basically Chicken Milanese covered in Bechamel sauce and cheese, usually Parmesan, hence the name.

QforCucumber · 26/07/2016 18:26

imnot they're not open that late but g's golden chippy on Virginia gardens are the best around Grin

AppleSetsSail · 26/07/2016 18:28

I wouldn't want to be awoken at 2am with an offer of takeaway, but I think the moment has passed to this is now just academic.
