I don't know... I think it's inappropriate but everyone seems to find it hilarious! Not my baby btw it was going around on Facebook, the ones that have like 13,000 likes

I hate things like that.

Sexualising breasts and in return does no favours for mums who breastfeed.

Its shit like that that made me not even try breastfeeding

Daffodil90 · 15/07/2016 21:31

I do not lie scarydinosaurs, my MIL pointed it out to me. Just casually hanging there amongst the normal stuff. Bleurgh.

maisiejones · 15/07/2016 21:36

No, it's vile.

Daffodil90 · 15/07/2016 21:40

Not the same but similar

hazeyjane · 15/07/2016 21:41

Ahem!

I knew they were real because I saw a baby wearing one a few months ago!

blueturtle6 · 15/07/2016 21:42

Poor taste, but some people obviously think its appropriate. Poor kid in later life, that'll be on social media for future.

EverySongbirdSays · 15/07/2016 21:44

I know we were talking about the rudeness of returning gifts but if someone gave me that I'd literally say no...thank you...and hand it back.

WanderingTrolley1 · 15/07/2016 21:44

It's awful.

Scarydinosaurs · 15/07/2016 21:45

daff that is beyond disgusting!!!

I can't believe a shop stocked that. I would have refused to sell it. Totally foul.

Twowrongsdontmakearight · 15/07/2016 21:45

Not

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 15/07/2016 21:46

All kinds of wrong - cute baby though

Fomalhaut · 15/07/2016 21:46

Grim.

I did nearly buy a Star Trek one that said "I've just boldly gone" once though...

Daffodil90 · 15/07/2016 21:48

Me too scarydinosaurs, i would have sent it back to the warehouse it came from and be calling everyone and anyone in charge.
Some buyer will have found it hillarious but with any luck they'll have been fired by now.

daisychain01 · 15/07/2016 21:49

Its one step away from abuse.

Put a baby in a babygro with an offensive sexually suggestive message on it when they don't have any choice or say in the matter.

Then add insult to injury by sending it round on social media, for people to gawk and have a good laugh at their expense, when they have no choice in the matter about that either

Yaaayyyy what's not to like Hmm

Mycraneisfixed · 15/07/2016 21:51

Sick

I wouldn't put a baby in it (ever) but I did giggle. However, I do find it bizarre that I was told on a deleted thread that I was an an uptight, pearl clutching, judgemental bitch for not finding porn books on a children's Kindle funny. Yet this babygro has been decreed "not funny" by the masses, and so that is it.

It would be an interesting subject for a thesis. Herd mentality on "discussion" boards...

MsJamieFraser · 15/07/2016 21:54

Lilac NO I haven't said that at all, I said there is much more important things to be worrying about than a silly comment on a item of clothing, at no point have I said we should "ignore" the comments, I personally have more important things to worry about than a mundane comment on a item of clothing, trying to make a quick buck!

VestalVirgin · 15/07/2016 21:54

I know we were talking about the rudeness of returning gifts but if someone gave me that I'd literally say no...thank you...and hand it back.

I would consider the end of that friendship an added bonus rather than worry about being rude, to be honest.

That one that suggests baby's father didn't want them is especially vile.

SteviebunsBottrittrundle · 15/07/2016 21:55

Eeeeeewwwww, my stomach just lurched when I read this, no exageration! Who would actually dress their child in this? Ick.

KitKats28 · 15/07/2016 21:55

Oh and navyandwhite you were one of the people who told me I needed to unclench. How ironic.

IAmALionTamer · 15/07/2016 21:58

Urgh just nauseating. Who on earth would buy this?!

KitKats28 · 15/07/2016 21:59

So to sum up....porn novels on a child's Kindle: hilarious. Dodgy (and probably photoshopped) message on a babygro: child abuse. Okaaay

MammaTJ · 15/07/2016 22:00

I don't see it as sexualising babies, more as babies taking priority over sex for the boobies! Which is right and proper!

Junosmum · 15/07/2016 22:03

My husband has jokingly said he wishes he got as much booby time as DS.
