Just that...I always wonder!

OP posts:

No, not about me.

But I sometimes worry some of the threads I've posted, others might recognise themselves...

My recent thread about my dog kicking neighbours is different. I actively wish they would recognise themselves or someone else would recognise them - so they can see themselves as others see them.

Sometimes I've read threads, especially batshit mil ones where I've thought "oh god, if anyone on this thread knows mil and me they're totally going to think I'm the OP!"
It's amazing how coincidentally similar situations can be.

OTOH, it has also occurred to me that it MAY be a family member posting from my POV Hmm [paranoid]

No but I do often read titles & open the thread thinking this could be the one...
Not recognised anyone in posts either.

can that's sad she must be a very insecure person. I think I vaguely remember a post like that.

Not yet, but there have been some situations that have been familiar enough that I've suspected I know who they're about.

I'd say I'm pretty safe as the kind of people I piss off are more 'hun' than MN. But then, far more hun is arriving on MN than we've previously had, so you never know!
