My furry chin. Seriously, I look at my mum in amazement of such long beard hairs and my face is going the same way Grin.
Poor DD Sad

All you fat-legged ladies come to Mexico, they are very highly prized here.

My dd inherited lots of teeth from one parent.. Me and a narrow jawline from the other..Dh. A fortune on braces later that problem is solved. Hair on chin not so easy even if l had another fortune to spend. I hope for her sake they invent some fool proof solution soon. I would spend my savings buying it for her as l have struggled so much myself with it.

Myself, DSis and 2 DN's all have dark facial hair and it was one thing I really hoped my DD would not have to suffer with. Fortunately my DH's blond genes were apparently stronger than my dark ones and she only has blond hair on her legs and pits and no facial hair at all. Smile

You know things are bad when you are pleased that your stubbly chin hairs are turning white and not so noticeable! Plucking can take place at a more leisurely pace!

Biscuitbrixit · 11/07/2016 06:28

My side of family have no boobs. My dh side have huge boobs. Mil & sil have both had reductions. I really hope dd has my family boobs!

... The billions from her grandfather's side as she is the sole remaining descendant, and we are but humble millers...

^^ how I pictured this thread before clicking on it (been watching too much Downton Abbey and North & South)

NowWhat1983 · 11/07/2016 12:01

Ive had jet black hairs on my chin since i was 16. That's pcos...not blonde hairs

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 11/07/2016 12:56

My dd has inherited from her dad...

Beautiful blue eyes
Beautiful blonde ringlets

Asthma
Dyspraxia
Food allergies...

My chin is fairly hair free. So hopefully she won't get her dad's beard!

Lucky DD has got her dads sides long legs and my curves!!
Glad she doesn't have my stumpy chubby legs and their flat chests.
Sadly she may have my eyebrows too but that's fixable

Noodledoodledoo · 11/07/2016 16:11

I also disagree with the post menopause issue - mine have been with me since I was a teenager. Also think its hereditary as all the females in my family suffer, Grandma, Mum, Sister and me!

My poor DD has got my stumpy legs and long body so a life of struggling to buy swimsuits, tops that cover what they need to........

StillMedusa · 11/07/2016 16:18

I gave DD1 the family NOSE. It's not a good one..a right hooter. The other three kids got DH's which is much smaller/nicer.

But she also got 5 ft 10 of glorious size 8 willowy body, so she isn't allowed to moan... her sister only reached 5 ft 3 and thinks it is most unfair Grin

HumphreyCobblers · 11/07/2016 16:32

Only yesterday, I realised to my horror that DD has inherited DH's feet instead of my lovely, elegant feet.

Fortunately she has also inherited his maths ability.

CigarsofthePharoahs · 11/07/2016 16:32

I've been growing proper witchy wizened chin hairs since my 20's. Had a freakish one recently. It was ingrowing, I managed to fish it out and then another, then another... six bloody hairs in total. Hopefully it's dead now. I was thinking of saving up for laser treatment, don't think I'll bother now I'll just keep ripping the buggers out.

Cherylene · 11/07/2016 16:54

DDs inherited DH and DMIL's excess hair Sad

They are twins and identical so I feel doubly bad for letting that happen and pissed off for not having had a second chance.

Totally irrational and DDs said not to worry.

I started mine around 17 and I shave daily. Laser did nothing to help. Every month I get my whole face threaded just to stop it getting too stubbly but my chine grows back the day after the thread. Sometimes I have to shave twice a day. Guys don't mind it well none of the guys I dated did and nobody seems to notice it as they look surprised if I talk about it so it's not too bad.
