My niece seems to be selling a LOT of Ted Baker items on Facebook selling pages, all new with tags. She's a shop manager so not sure how she's coming about these items.

I asked her mum and she has no idea, and says her DD just keeps saying "it's not important, the money is".

What do you think is going on?

A salary of £22,000 at 18 and she can't manage on that without selling clothes on the side

Does she have to wear ted baker stuff at work ? Some staff are given an allowance to buy clothes which they then have to wear at work. ,perhaps she's selling that

What is being a shop manager at Greggs got anything to do with it, its nothing to do with Facebook selling or Ted Baker.

Worra Fair enough if she lives in a high cost area then I agree £1,500 take home pay a month probably won't be enough. If she's in a low cost area then it should be plenty to cover living expenses especially with discounted pies

Perhaps the manager has giving her permission to do so.

OP can advice her DN about managing on £22k a year because she's just been offered a job herself for that same amount.
