When I was a live in nanny many moons a go I went shopping in the local town, came home and put the shopping bags on the kitchen table. Charge called me as he had done a poo and parents were dodging changing him. By the time I had cleaned him up my Dad Boss had put all of my shopping in the outside bin. Because "he didn't know what they were". Angry All my brand new clothes Sad he was a complete arse.

GooodMythicalMorning · 07/07/2016 16:57

Mine used to but think I taught him a lesson when I scared him into thinking he'd thrown my new camera away with his careless chucking away.

HitsAndMrs · 07/07/2016 17:01

Hahaha whoooo that's so funny.

WallToWall Just in case what? My mind is officially boggled and I can't stop giggling.

ItsMeTheMummy · 07/07/2016 18:05

My dh did this exact thing a few months back, I used it as an excuse to try different brands, Organicup was problematic so it's Ruby cup time next month Grin

WallToWallBastards · 07/07/2016 19:44

Tworings I don't know, you'll have to ask my grandad why he does it. My guess is he has no idea they've been up my floo and possibly a passing mouse may be in dire need of a telescope? Confused

HitsAndMrs · 07/07/2016 21:07

He might think they're reusable walltowall!

DH is not allowed to put anything in the bin until I've checked it. He's terrible, just picks things up and throws them away without even looking at them or thinking about what they are. Important paperwork/letters, my belongings etc. Drives me mad Angry

Blacksheep78 · 08/07/2016 04:06

I don't think my DP has put anything in a bin EVER. Unless you count the garage floor as a bin. Maybe the driveway, or the kitchen floor too...

Cups are indeed precious!!

thecatsarecrazy · 08/07/2016 09:29

My dh had 3 empty chewing gum pots on the kitchen table for about 3 weeks. I binned them and never heard the end of it. When the post comes and you get shyte for some shop you have never heard of are having a sale this week he puts them on the table. Just bin it!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 08/07/2016 09:30

Is it just me hearing this thread title in David Schwimmer's voice when his sandwich was half-eaten and then thrown away?

I can't remember which size is bigger, but you'd need the bigger cup as your over 30 and had children but others have said different brands suit different people.
If you get one, protect it because the heartbreak is real Wink

TesticleMeElmo · 10/07/2016 18:05

So what makes does everyone recommend? I've been considering making the switch for some time, but I have no idea where to start i don't want to google foof cups and look like a tit

ILoveDolly · 10/07/2016 18:09

Wow I know it must be so annoying but I've got one of the other kind, who has all his old junk from college and useless games consoles and won't even throw away a milk carton. Last time he bleated "I don't know what bin it goes in" our 3 dc all answered for me in a chorus. Grin

OooLookShoes · 10/07/2016 18:15

DH bins my stuff

The most rage inducing recent one being my very favourite mug, now discontinued, that had a slight chip in.
Knowing he is obsessed with binning stuff, I pointed out the chip, and said DONT throw it out, I love this mug, it has sentimental significance, I can't get another anyway. Only me uses it, I don't care about chip repeat do not bin it.

Reader, he binned it.

(Sob)

Fucker.

Archedbrowse · 10/07/2016 18:25

Yes, all the time. Most recently he ripped up into a million pieces the 'big' letter from school with all the important dates for queen bday party/sports day/school fair/end of term activities etc etc and what was needed for each, and binned it. I had left it unattended on counter, ready to put in calendar, for about a minute and a half so my fault clearly.
When I asked him if he'd written down the dates, he said How was he supposed to know it had dates on it?
Oh I don't know, hows about actually looking at the thing you're about to destroy and bin first? Just a cursory glance?

CheerfullyIndifferent · 10/07/2016 18:28

OooLookShoes that's grounds for divorce! Angry

Archedbrowse · 10/07/2016 18:29

He also threw the DVD player away about 2 years ago as it looked messy Confused And then last week ordered an £18 DVD of our 3yr old daughter's dance show.

We've recently had a knock through done so lots of stuff went in to garage. I recently made noises about getting my iPod docking speaker thing back out, and he's looking v shifty. I asked if he'd binned it, he said how was he supposed to know. Angry

Dandelion6565 · 10/07/2016 18:30

Be careful with stand offs, our bin once sat unemptied for over two weeks!
I emptied it the end and punished him in other ways!

iMogster · 10/07/2016 18:58

My DH threw away my pumice stone. He thought it was a random stone one of our boys had brought home!

LordoftheTits · 10/07/2016 19:43

TesticleMeElmo

I use a medium 'shorty' Meluna cup. The smallest Mooncup is too large, wide and firm for me - I can't even pee with it in it's so large Blush

WaverleyOwl · 10/07/2016 19:53

As an aside there is a that does reviews of mooncups, including advice on how to choose one.

ItsMeTheMummy · 10/07/2016 20:11

waverleyowl you're totally right, she has such knowledge about menstrual cups. A combination of her YouTube videos and this review website ( menstrualcupreviews.net/ ) is how I've chosen my cups Smile

WaverleyOwl · 10/07/2016 20:14

I know! I wish I was that composed when I was her age. Or even now Blush
