Sorry trivial I know. I've got a hold-all with wheels AIBU to take this as a labour bag. DH thinks it's far too big and will be in the way?
What do you think?

Sounds like a great idea to me. I was walked through the hospital door in labour and left 10 hours later with DD so didn't use a lot from my bag but I packed for a good few days stay. It made me feel far more relaxed knowing I had covered every eventuality! I also packed another bag with extra baby clothes and food and left it in the car.

Sounds fine to me, much easier than carrying heavy bags around. It won't be in the way, it's only a hold all.
Hope it all goes well.

Thank you...wonder what this thread would look like if it was all men's replies ha ha!
I tried cramming into small bags and I ended up with three bags. Don't want to be carrying them from place to place! X

I ended up in hospital for 4 weeks with DC2 (only 2 days after she was born) so I had masses of stuff by the time I went for my section. That included briefcase and laptop case as I was working until the weekend before she was born.

DC3 was worse, only in for 3 weeks, but EMCS so hadn't had a clear out and sent stuff home beforehand.

With DC1 I had a trolley cabin bag for me and a hold-all for DS. For DC3, the baby clothes/nappies etc were in a Tesco carrier bag as the EMCS took us by surprise Grin

Yep, hair straighteners. Thankfully I'd already had my hair done the day before I went into labor so it was blown beautifully dry and I was eternally lucky to have a calm, quick labor resulting in not a hair out of place and my make up unsmudged. I looked fucking fabulous when I had my kids! Grin

Look like a haggard sack of shit now though...
