It's time to face up to the glaring contradictions in our country. After we have triggered Article 50, I think those of us in the rest of the UK should not only grant Sturgeon her precious referendum; we should actively encourage Scottish independence.

In my opinion, it's a price worth paying to be shot of the EU.

Actually, there is a petition for London to declare independence (kind of tongue in cheek ...) and apparently Sturgeon has been talking to Khan about what the options are for places (like Scotland and London) that overwhelmingly voted to remain, when the overall result is to leave

It makes no difference to them whether we support it or not. So why should they give us any favours in return? If they stay in the EU they'll be in a stronger position economically than England.

It's funny, when I think of racists I imagine (or used to - we live and learn) a big fat man with a huge beer belly, sitting in front of the TV all day - and sponging ... But to answer your actual question, I believe both Scotland and NI should be allowed to decide their own future. However from my own selfish point of view (English) I don't want them to leave. I don't want to see the UK split up, and I certainly don't want to be stuck with the tories or a right-leaning country.

Do you honestly see that happening? Nicola Sturgeon has already been advised that if Scotland wants to remain in the EU then it would likely need to reapply for membership. There could be multiple hurdles if that is the case and an acceptance is not guaranteed.
