To think MN is a bundle of laughs today

Thread after thread on the referendum. Huge spiteful comments between each group.

It's like watching the start of war on TV with two camps either side screaming insults at each other.

Fed up with it all. Bring back the normal threads where we read shocking stories of parking threads, ridiculous cases of entitlement and just general laughter and banter.

What's done is done and no amount of outrage will change that!

Of course I understand why people want to talk about it Confused

But why does it need to be over 100's of threads. What's wrong with posting in the ones that already exist instead of making more and more?

I had fish and chips for tea tonight

I do sympathise with people worrying for their livelihoods. Strange times indeed.

People need to grieve.

Hopefully then we can regroup, find common ground and find good old British resolve to forge a path forwards, regardless of who voted what.

Can't find it.

Blush

Looked in the Other Topics, no not there, In the Club - that makes sense, but no.
Games and fun? Nah, probably too obvious, so not there.
Becoming a Parent - you'd think that, but no.

Too scared to look the Pets section.

Oh I love cavvies!!!!

They are one of my dream dogs. We are looking at getting a dog and are torn between a:
Chihuahua (had before and loved their temperment)
A cavalier
A papillon(no experience in those but I think they look cute. Will do more research in behaviour)
A Pom but they yappiness puts me off slightly

Red eyed animals creep me out Blush

When I was looking for a Pygmy hedgehog, the only litter near me had 1 female and 3 males. I really wanted a female as they were slightly bigger and less huffy but she was an albino so I left with a male instead. He was ok actually. Very smelly at times and occasionally huffy but he never bit me

It was like this after the election, normality will return soon. (I refuse to use the word normalcy)

He was at an animal shelter for poor unwanted guinea pigs. I don't think it's uncommon for people to be creeped out by the ruby eyed ones. He is a total sweetie who goes sleep on my feet when he's finished running around for the day.

To be fair you are taking this independence thing better than we did in Ireland. After our treaty vote we had a civil war. I think there is still a British stuff upper lip reserve in your expressions of anger towards the other side.

I think it will be a time for reflection for the next while until the emotions and fall out have a chance to become the new reality.

Bless him. Least you took pity on him and gave him a home he deserves and sounds like he landed in a lap of luxury

I don't know what creeps me out about them. They just do. Weird

I'm glad that MN is full of referendum threads. It's comforting to know that it's important to so many people.

I think I prefer the Pets Topic.

I just thought sigh urrgggh, well maybe it will all work out somehow...after all, we don't really know how things will pan out.

I voted remain because of 20th century history, we have had years mostly of peace. However, there are disadvantages of the EU too, and maybe we can chart a reasonable course alongside the rest of Europe.
