Just home from work. DH and the kids have been out in the garden. Lovely, they've done some weeding!
Except Jasmine, peonies and raspberries are not weeds are they?
FFS.
Last year an entire grapevine fell at his hands. It was massive and he cut it off at the root!
I should really not mention this on Fathers Day should I? Help me with some tongue-biting strategies please!

Me too. Actually, I just realised they were anemones not peonies though. So, every cloud and all that...

I thought an anemone was one of those funny looking ball things with tendrils that live under the sea Hmm

Vickyyyy · 19/06/2016 20:36

OMG I am so sorry that was a really stupid comment. I should stay out of garden related threads, or maybe thread in general that I know nothing about. I feel really stupid now. I blame my medication Blush

Anemone/anenome. One's a flower and one's a sea thing but I can never remember which is which.

Oliviacolemansshriek · 19/06/2016 20:45

Yes they're that too. Except I don't have the fish ones in my garden Grin

It's ok Vicky! They're really similar words and I wouldn't know an anemone if it bit me.

I would hopefully know it wasn't a weed though. Grin

Ooh they're pretty! I do recognise them actually although only ever seen them in posies.
