I called in sick the day the DVD of Season 5 of the Shield came out. It was a fab day, also a friday.

I am off today and my grand plans are to sit on the sofa and enjoy every second.

What time does it come on Netflix I'm stalking my app but it's not in there yet! Considers a toddler tantrum kicking and screaming in floor

Raar! I took two days leave when the final season of The Shield came out on UK DVD and bought in lots of luxury food and drink like it was Christmas!

I felt bereft when I watched the last episode and knew there'd never be any more. I love OITNB but nothing has ever compared to The Shield for me..

DH is fucking off to France for 4 days. I know how I'll be spending one of those!

Funny thing Re the country stopping for 22 men and a football yesterday... DH is in IT, they outsource networking for the NHS. He worked home from yesterday to watch the footie and the servers went down about 10 mins into the game, so he actually had to do some work to try to fix it (hence missing much of the game).

Turned out... the sheer volume of streaming for the game had shut down their servers! For the NHS!

And YES to OITNB. Can't believe this day has finally arrived...! Feels like a reunion with a good group of girl friends.
