Seen this doing the rounds on Facebook from what I think is a viable source! I'm quite shocked by the message in this letter! Opinions please.

I can see why the letter is annoying (if your children actually attend the school) and worthy of an eye roll or two, but why are people completely unconnected to the school and it's pupils so frothingly offended by it?

Cold, you know no one is remotely bothered by the fact that the school are offering clubs. It's the fact that they have worded the benefits in such a way as to suggest that sexual exploitation or extremism would be as a direct result of failing to join these clubs.

Not related to the letter but the quote from ofsted on the who's who page was fairly jaw-dropping:

"...teachers' pay is justified by pupil performance..."

Teachers' pay should be justified by their own performance. FFS.
