Somehow I find it even more irritating because he uses a capital H. Not sure I'm cut out for online dating...!!

Yanbu Hun, I think blokes do this online because they can't be arsed remembering the name of the person they are emailing. If he can't make the effort to learn your actual name then I wouldn't bother

mygorgeousmilo · 16/06/2016 20:32

Unbearable 😫

mygorgeousmilo · 16/06/2016 20:32

What Crafty just said!

HermioneJeanGranger · 16/06/2016 20:33

"Sensitive living soul" Grin

Tinkfromlovejoy · 16/06/2016 20:34

I walked out of the body shop today with a face like thunder when the sickly sweet assistant asked me "if I needed any help, Hun?". It's not the first time, I think it's in the training manual. Website from now on.

MitzyLeFrouf · 16/06/2016 20:39

Awww hunni, you sound a bit uptight. You just need a bit of loving from this lovely man. Let him pop on a Westlife CD lay you down on his silk effect sheets and take you to heaven. You'll never regret it hun. xxxxxxxxx

Sidalee7 · 16/06/2016 20:45

YADNBU!

I was bra shopping yesterday and my fitter kept calling me Sweet. As in: "No problem Sweet, you are welcome Sweet"

I really wanted to tell her to stop it!

Anyway Hun, just do what makes you happy Grin XXXXX

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 16/06/2016 20:54

NewRoad - I can't believe anyone can be that sickly sweet and think it ok. You call each other 'hun' and you think that's just dandy?

Well at least she's not downright rude MoltoIncazzata. If it suits NewRoad and her husband what has it to do with you?

VestalVirgin · 16/06/2016 21:17

Point out your first name is not Attila. (Except if it is. In that case, I don't know.)

MitzyLeFrouf · 16/06/2016 21:20

'I can't believe anyone can be that sickly sweet and think it ok. You call each other 'hun' and you think that's just dandy?'

Grin

I expect you call your significant other 'Comrade'?

Honestly if two people want to refer to each other as 'hun' or 'snuggle bum' surely that's their business? Why would anyone care the terms of endearments a couple use for one another?

BolshierAryaStark · 16/06/2016 21:30

The use of hun sets my fucking teeth on edge so no, YWBU to ditch murder him.

BolshierAryaStark · 16/06/2016 21:31

The W is obviously for wouldn't btw...

GloopyGhoul · 16/06/2016 21:32

Vestal :D

Change your profile name to Attila, then when he asks why you can explain!

Am now pondering a name change...AttilaTheHunny?

CalleighDoodle · 16/06/2016 21:35

BringMeTea · 16/06/2016 21:36

Thicko. Next!

MillionToOneChances · 16/06/2016 21:40

Mitzy, the silk-effect sheets made me Grin

AIBU has spoken. He's toast - gavel! Moot point since he's gone quiet after I declined to tell someone I haven't even spoken to what turns me on Hmm

JOEYDOESNTSHAREFOOD · 16/06/2016 21:41

You are SO not unreasonable. I've done it. I also rejected a six foot firefighter because he insisted on calling me babe.

myusernamewastaken · 16/06/2016 21:42

Im 42 and last year i had a 28 year old man chasing me....i considered dating him until he messaged me calling me hun....that was it....instant no no...i cant bear it.....even my 13 year old daughter loathes it and finds it vomit provoking x

GloopyGhoul · 16/06/2016 21:44

"What turns you on?"

"I'm so glad you asked. I like proper grammar, occasional gratuitous circumlocution, and the use of my ACTUAL NAME."

ClopySow · 16/06/2016 21:47

maybe review your profile to see why you has attracted such a person x

WHAT?

kennypppppppp · 16/06/2016 21:48
