I felt exactly the same about Gove and Boris bleating on about being able to spend more on public services when they've consistently voted to decimate them in power.

The problem is the Tories trying to pretend they care about ordinary people, whether it's Tories in the Leave campaign or Tories in the remain campaign.

ThoraGruntwhistle · 14/06/2016 19:08

If you really want even more cuts and the poor and disabled given more of a kicking, vote Leave by all means.

CantAffordtoLive · 14/06/2016 19:14

EU funding is just the EU giving back to us some of the money they have already taken.

We would be much better off keeping all our money and spending it all on ourselves in the first place.

BeckerLleytonNever · 16/06/2016 16:48

and now the cunt is threatening to raise taxes if we leave?

Given that both the Remain and Leave campaigns have suspended campaigning today in light of the horrific event in Birstall, perhaps you might do the same.

PausingFlatly · 16/06/2016 16:54

Becker, you may not have heard - an MP's just been shot and is in critical condition.Sad

Both campaigns have suspended.

(Though I appreciate your daily struggles don't get suspended too.Flowers)

OMG, just seen the BBC thanks to you Situated. That's horrific. I hope she pulls through.

Apart from the fact that the economy is likely to be much smaller, wiping out any net increase in the money the UK has to spend on services. Plus the fact it may well not be spent on services you would like.

I can't stand Osbourne, and agree he is being hypocritical by worrying about the poor now, but he is right on this one. I'd be willing to bet that things would be a lot worse for you if we leave.

Seems like cutting your nose off to spite your face to me.
