to appeal parking fine for 3 minutes parking

I have received a letter saying I must pay a parking fine of £100 (£60 if I pay it in 14 days). There's a photo of my car parked - which shows I was only in the space for 3 minutes. I only stopped there so my husband and baby (and buggy) could get out of the car! I really was only there for 3 minutes.

Is the fine enforcable?

Can I appeal it successfully, do you think?

Needs - both MSE and Pepipoo state not to name the driver - my understanding is by not giving them the drivers name and therefore not helping them out - this means they have to follow a longer process, apply to dvla, issue a notice to keeper and gives them more opportunity to make an error (which helps you).

Floods - unfortunately following last years court case that is not true anymore.

Op I am not an expert in car parking charges but (unfortunately) had to spend several hours of my time reading MSE and Pepipoo. Pepipoo is easier to read (in my opinion) then the MSE 'new to this forum -read this' thread under parking charges on MSE.

My husbans is a traffic warden for the council and you are allowed 10 mins either side of your ticket leway..(at the start so you can go and get change.)
Not sure if it will work for a private company though!

it now no longer matters who was driving. The company has been allowed to pursue the keeper of the car for a few years now

But not in Scotland or Northern Ireland, I believe.

Thank you. I'm going to appeal. I might as well!
