I've had a shitty day. I knew with a new baby (9 weeks) there are good days and bad days, today has been a bad one.
DS has screamed pretty much all day, I tried to take the dog and baby for a walk and he continued to scream, so much so that I got dirty looks from a couple passing us, it was horrible.
I then started to cry, the dog started eating a massive shit (bloody Labradors will eat anything) and DS screamed a bit more.

Therefore the only solution was to come home and eat a huge bag of malteasers, even though I'm trying very hard to lose weight and eat sensibly.

AIBU in giving myself a hard time for cracking and eating chocolate when I'm supposed to be dieting, or is it ok to crack every now and then?

Nah. Ate my way through first 6 months of sleep deprivation hell. Cake and chlorate kept me going. When finally slept better around 6 months in then started watching what I ate

There is no such thing as a 'sharing' bag of maltesers its an urban myth. They are supposed to be eaten alone and if anyone comes close to them you should have all the grace of Gollum with his 'precious' Smile

If I didnt have at least one bag a week I would feel I was letting the company down and they might stop making them, its a terrible responsibility Sad

The only cure for new baby stress is chocolate, its a medical fact.

Just make sure you have enough for the next time.
