Kind of light hearted but part of me isn't either

Me and DP have a puppy that we got together but when she's done something naughty she's his dog DP has just gone off to work I've got me and DD bathed and on the sofa with some junk and a DVD just let puppy out for a wee she comes back in covered in shit because she's decided to roll in her own mess ShockShock this is one of them times she isn't mine

So how U would I be to ring DP tell him he needs to sort his dog out because I can't deal with this today

Say no more. Shit rolling is in their breed description

She's been with us a few months now and has never done anything like it so fingers crossed it was a one offGrin

NeedACleverNN · 13/06/2016 10:30

I remember toilet training my pup with a huge hangover (me not ddog). I don't think I drank again until she was fully toilet trained. Bluerrrggghhh.

Have you been to the doghouse section on mnet? It's fab

minesapintofwine · 13/06/2016 10:32

Need and then licking you....

NeedACleverNN · 13/06/2016 10:34

Yes a great big lick after a yummy snack is guaranteed.

The worse thing one of my dogs rolled in was a dead rotting fish. Took me ages to get the smell out of her and she cleared the room when she walked into the house.

She was dead proud though. Not so impressed when j bathed her

KittiesInsane · 13/06/2016 10:34

The only time our bloody pup follows me tightly to heel gazing up in approved loving fashion is when she's leapt sideways and rubbed her fuzzy face in nameless stinky heap of something on the verge. And that's whilst actually on the lead.

dead rotting fish Shock

OP, don't worry, you needn't watch your dog all the time. Apart from when it's tiny and hasn't had full injections yet, it's fine, especially outdoors. Indoors there's more they can do like chew wires/shoes/knock phone off hook but provided garden is secure and is reasonably safe she'll be fine. Ours has got thorns in her foot a few times but we can't watch her 24/7 and just make sure we sort it out when she does hurt herself a bit. As a pup we did generally watch mine but then we wee 3 adults with no kids so we're able to.

Oh yes tug the towel is a great game! Sos bite the quilt cover and take humans slipper outdoors and growl when human comes to take it away! in our house we have a phone seat and a phone and ours favourite thing was to get on her back legs, balance with one paw on phone seat and whack phone off the seat with other paw. Oh, and putting paw in water bowl and deliberately tipping it over Grin

We have boxer/lab pup and the stupid shit he does is unreal.

He has eaten poo from the cat litter, he picked up one of his own poo's from the garden and deposited it at my feet in the kitchen, he chewed a tube of denture fix and glued his teeth to his lips.

Puppies do what puppies do he's probably safer in the garden than anywhere else.

MrsHardy1 · 13/06/2016 12:45

I had a feeling she'd be a lab Smile
