to have not missed my husband

So, my husband has been on a holiday with a friend. I have no problem with us doing stuff like this at all and was fine about him going.
He is due back tomorrow and it's just occurred to me that I haven't missed him. I've not really thought about him at all and now I feel terrible.

He has texted saying how excited he is, he's missed me so much and I just don't feel the same. This isn't normal is it?

YANBU. I don't miss him when he's away too much but thats probably down to him working away every week. However I'm halfway through 2 weeks away with work and I miss him a hell of a lot right now I don't know if it's him or my own bed I'm missing though

Goodness no I wouldn't miss him! Like many possibilities have said it's so much easier to be organised without him around
Having said that dc and I are away next Mon/tues and he's booked both days off work as "the dog will get lonely". All the dog does all day is sleep

DH went to his parents for 3 days last weekend. He has been driving me mad. I loved it. We are friends again now.

DH works away about 2 weeks each month -usually home for the weekend. Generally freakin love it. House stays clean (despite toddlers best efforts), I control the remote/ can read in peace/listen to boring programs on the radio and eat what I want when I want!
When he's away I Imagine the scintillating company I'm missing and fun we could be having...He's home tonight and snoring on the sofa.
I do love him...but I also love my own company!
