FFS! We have a 30ft garden, the dollop next door to me has just lit a bonfire on their patio right underneath DD bedroom. Ready to smash his face in!

Go round there and thrash him to death with a broom handle. Sparing his face obviously (you know, for the faint of heart Grin)

Don't send email to the council find out who is housing association is and complain to them. Make a big thing of it to them they will be round like a shot. You have to ring and complain the sound of your furious voice will make them move.

BoatyMcBoat · 25/05/2016 21:03

If you read the bonfire advice on my Council's page you'd see it says have the bonfire as far away from the house as you can. Also, start it in the morning, otherwise it is likely to be smouldering through the night.

Legendofthephoenix · 25/05/2016 21:04

He might be moving.

My neighbours did this, right outside DC's bedroom, bonfire 10ft high in Summer. It was 3 years ago and I'm still fucking furious. It knocked all the blossom off my apple tree too so I was reminded of it all year when there were no apples.
He was a policeman, the twat.

Karma got them though, they got burgled, he had an affair and they divorced and had to sell the house. We have lovely neighbours now.

I hope you get rid of the fuckers soon coco.

MaddyHatter · 25/05/2016 21:08

You are being very unreasonable and frankly your language and tone is unsettling. They are going about their own business.

ohtheholidays · 25/05/2016 21:42

What an arse, like another poster said OP phone the fire brigade.

We had to last year after a new neighbour lit a bonfire and went off indoors and ignored it,the first time we noticed was when we could see flames bloody 7ft high and we live an alleyway and 4 houses away from them.

The bloody morons, the fire brigade came straight out and put the bonfire out and had a real go at them. What made it worse was there'd been a bonfire that had got out of control only a few months ago at another near by house,it was so bad it destroyed 4 gardens and damaged 2 houses, they had 3 fire engines out and the Police.
Some people just really don't have any common sense OP.
