To ask how you make spaghetti carbonara without scrambling the fucking eggs?

Every. Single. Time. I think it's going well and then wham - spaghetti with bacon and scrambled eggs! Anyone got a foolproof way of making it without scrambling?

I don't put egg white in - is that the bit that scrambles? Definitely after it's done/off the heat.

I just made it - cook pasta, drain, take off heat. Mix 1 full egg, 1 egg yolk, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Mix into pasta. Scrambling Grin

I don't care really. My eggs go a bit scrambled. I chuck cream in with the eggs. I add far too much cheese.

Not authentic, but bloody delicious.

The only way I can make it work is to drain the pasta, add the bacon and stir thoroughly and only then add the egg mixture. Always had scrambled eggs before doing it this way.

I use philidephia and chopped up sandwich meat ham and tell the kids it's carbonara
