Wow what have they done? Scribbled it out or removed whole pages?

FruStefanOla · 23/05/2016 08:35
Grin

What's the book and how has the bad language been removed?

jaffacakesareevil · 23/05/2016 08:35

How funny! How did they remove it?

MrsGradyOldLady · 23/05/2016 08:36

Oh yes please tell us the name of the book too

TheHobbitMum · 23/05/2016 08:37

Lol fantastic,

sockrage · 23/05/2016 08:37

It is called The Three Day Rule
It's blurb is
'Well you know the saying, families are like fish. They go off after three days'.

So not an over offensive gang book or something

ollieplimsoles · 23/05/2016 08:40

what a drag!

MrsGradyOldLady · 23/05/2016 08:43

That's someone with way too much time on their hands!

MrsGradyOldLady · 23/05/2016 08:44

They missed "bloody" out as well

TheJiminyConjecture · 23/05/2016 08:44

I love this!

The idea that someone was happy enough to read it twice (presuming of course, that they didn't decide to start deleting the swear words immediately) but not happy for anyone else to, is brilliant!

acasualobserver · 23/05/2016 08:46

I liked the invitation to "Enjoy ...". Couldn't work out whether it was PA 'Enjoy your filth, you dirty-minded bastard' or a genuine 'Please enjoy this novel now I have removed its rudeness'.

Lovewineandchocs · 23/05/2016 08:47

I've read that one! Not good to censor it though, but I applaud the effort 😀

BitOutOfPractice · 23/05/2016 08:50

That shows real comittment!

Blerg · 23/05/2016 08:52

Wow! That looks like my MIL handwriting. She is quite anti-swearing but I can't see her doing this.

BoffinMum · 23/05/2016 08:54

Good thing they aren't letting her loose on redacting MN. It would be one great black screen.

cdtaylornats · 23/05/2016 08:55

Just edit in your head and add your preferred swear words back in.

MoonfaceAndSilky · 23/05/2016 09:00

Oh how funny Grin

corlan · 23/05/2016 09:02

I think you need to reinstate all the swear words. If it's not clear what words were there, you could just make up some of your own.

eitak22 · 23/05/2016 09:02

Haha someone clearly had too much time on their hands. Reminds me of the notes in textbooks which would send you all over the book to tell you off for wasting time.

IceMaiden73 · 23/05/2016 09:08

How random !

AdoraBell · 23/05/2016 09:08

The only reason I can't say it was my MIL is that is not her writing.

molyholy · 23/05/2016 09:14

Hahahaha. Cheered me up on a Monday morning!! That must have taken ALOT of time and effort.

queenMab99 · 23/05/2016 09:18

It happens a lot to library books.
