Have you ever Google misophonia.....

I hate noisey eating. Or funny half whistling noises. Or the beep when the tumblers finished....

Oh I hate noisy eating and slurping so much. Woman with a pot of yogurt on the bus today dipping her finger in it and sucking loudly. Revolting, ready to disembowel her.

My DH hates the sound of eating.

It's bloody AWFUL for me....I can't relax and eat anything unless he's eating too. If he's eating he doesn't notice.

If I want a bloody biscuit or something, I can feel his tension. People who have this issue need to move away from those that are eating.

Yup I usually move away or more often my husband will eat in a different room if he's snacking on something munchy (crisps, Apple, etc). Kids know not to eat in my ear and we have a rule to eat at the table which helps with that one!

Otherwise if I'm eating too it's certainly easier or if I clench/unclench muscles elsewhere. Being away from it is best...
