My children say I shouldn't do it, nor should I say "nee-naw" every time we pass an ambulance/police car or fire engine. I see nothing wrong in it and even do it quietly when they are not in the car with me

YANBU. We live in a farm cottage and I say good morning to the cows every day. I also bah at the sheep (and am now unable to eat lamb).

If I forget my DD (8) reminds me to speak to the cows!

I like to be rebellious and worry sheep - if walking through a field of sheep I will shout 'gas bills! Exams! Have you left the door unlocked?!' And so on at them

Yabu. I moo at cows and also talk to my plants. My son hugs the tree outside the house when we are leaving for nursery.

I make animal noises as appropriate. We love love rurally so can often hear baa-ing. I have been known to sit in the back garden and baa back, even though I can't actually see any sheep.

Wellthen in our village there is a family who own llamas. They take them round the village for a walk at the weekend, on leads and everything!

I think there is a llama invasion. A few farms near here too

If that's unreasonable, then I don't wanna be reasonable.

If you (we) see alpacas, it's The Law to sing the title song from Nuzzle & Scratch.

This conversation's brought back memories of a camping trip I went on with mates when I was late teens/early twenties. Our tribe included a couple of lads called Nick and Ben, who were sharing a tent; they were convinced the local sheep were calling them in the morning: "Niiiiii-iiiiiick! Beeee-eee-eeennn!" Grin

Stubbly I'm just a thrill to be around, for all creatures Grin...I have no idea, they could just hang around to mock me in their own way!
