I don't go out anywhere
I don't have any hobbies
There is nothing where I live and I don't drive
My child has additional needs
I have no help other than elderly parents
She hates school
I hate my job.

I have x amount in my purse (rent)
I just feel like getting on a plane or train with dd and not looking back.

We went to our local church for this reason but it didn't work for us.

We are in a village. It used to have a fantastic community but they lost the community hall and it was cut off by a big bypass too.

I cannot get childcare for additional needs dd at the weekends. I only work school based hours for that reason.
I have been in contact with school countless times.
We do have options for year ten at several 14 plus schools so that is an option.

Is it a private let? If you are ha you could start looking at exchanges.
And yes to driving lessons, you don't have to do them all at once, one a week mounts up plus it gets you out of the house for an hour doing something for yourself!

It is private let yes. Im very happy to move but the costs of moving bond/deposit etc are crazy.

That diggers and dreamers site is facinating! (sp?),

If you get back into uni, that should help with relocation. Do any of the unis you are applying for have family accommodation? You could take that for first year and then move into private rented in the new city. Or just take advantage of being able to budget termly student finance to help with bond costs etc.

Are you looking at Access courses first?

ontheedgeofthemoon · 16/05/2016 14:09

I am just5minutes but have been unable to find out yet if I can claim the other 24s loan for the access course fees with me already having uni student loans.
