Mine liked Belgium, I thought it supremely dull. I liked France, he hated. We both thought the UK very good, but not Europop at all, which was presumably its downfall. And we were both bemused by Australia (both by them being in it and by the song's success).

Felt sorry for the German girl (we're in Germany, dh is German), though NFW would my dd be dressing, let alone performing, like that

Ukraine was appallingly worthy and not Eurovision at all.

DH is trying to convince me to go to Kiev next year.

YANBU OP. However a chaeper option would be to learn from the experience and book yourself a hotel room for next year.

That's what I'm going to do. Albeit for a different reason. I LOVE Eurovision. But for the past two years DP and DS have done my head in. Faffing. Chatting. Asking questions. I made them their own spreadsheets. I gave them food. And still they did the talking and faffing and asking questions. And expecting answers. I swear, sometimes I think they weren't taking it seriously.

Anyway next year I'm going to prepare an excellent Euro picnic basket, get dressed up and check into the nearest Travel Lodge.
