My local hairdressers/beauty rooms has been open for 3 years and I have been a loyal customer (going twice, sometimes 3 times a week)

They put a flyer in their reception asking for a hair model for a open evening they are having in a few weeks. Only- on the application, it says "models up to a size 10 only".

AIBU to think what the actual fuck?

You could start a conversation indicating your willingness to model on another occasion when the size 10 thing did not apply. That might reveal their reasons, and if it didn't you could ask.

As someone who hates having their hair fiddled with, though, thinking of going twice or three times a week puts me on edge. Interesting to know that there are people who enjoy it. Each to their own, natch.
