baby frog in my garden

I've just mowed the lawn and found a baby frog ( half the size of my thumb) in my garden. It was hopping about in between my decking. My neighbour has just filled his pond in, guessing this is where it's come from as we have no pond and I don't know what to do with it? Apparently you shouldn't mover them and they don't need water? It's just so small and I'm concerned he'd still be in neighbours pond if he hadn't been turfed out. What should I do?

Leave it or pop it in the border. I regularly find frogs in mine!

Pop it in your border to eat your slugs!

Do they eat slugs? Our swamp pond is swarming with tadpoles at the minute. If they all survive to become frogs, it will be a plague of biblical proportions. However, it'll cure our slug problem and keep the cats in frog legs for months

We only moved to this house recently so this is the first time we've had a pond.
