My sister is getting married in the summer, I am bridesmaid ds (16 months) Paige boy all fine no problems.

We are paying through the nose to stay at the hotel attached to the venue so that will be nice.

However, what happens come bed time? Am i supposed to go to the room and stay with him whilst he sleeps? Or let him sleep in his pushchair in a quietish corner of the reception room? Or take it in shifts to watch him whilst the other goes back down stairs?

AIBU to wonder what other people do with their toddlers at weddings?

The last wedding we went to, we got a babysitter (recommended by the hotel) to sit in the room with the DCs.

Went to one recently where the couple hired a babysitter for the evening for their DD, and a couple of friends DCs, they all chipped in. (We left ours at home with GPs but would have been happy to contribute. Is there anyone you could buddy up with?

Failing that we have also done the buggy in corner thing - was so surprised he slept like a baby!

Lucky star - your baby is your priority. Bf baby when you need to. Getting a sling would be a good idea in your position.
