Ds watches minecraft youtubers

Last couple of days there's been these adverts promoting abuse awareness.

Fair enough.
But today one of them was called "a right tit"
I'm not sure I want ds hearing that.
Is it a bit much?
He's 8
Guarantee he doesn't know what it means and I hate the word too.
They actually swear occasionally, the youtubers but he knows not to repeat that.

Am I being precious?

Yes.

dollylucy · 22/04/2016 14:49

Could you elaborate?!

He's 8 years not 8 months, I'm pretty sure he knows what tit means. Grow up.

dollylucy · 22/04/2016 14:51

He's my son and I'm pretty sure he doesn't know the word

You're being precious.

dollylucy · 22/04/2016 14:53

Can you explain why?

OP posts:
dollylucy · 22/04/2016 14:54

To confirm- I hate the word when used in that context- to describe someone

He's 8. He knows waaaaaaaay more than you think he does.

FlyingElbows · 22/04/2016 14:55

Actually, to be fair, even I have my limits when it comes to you tubers. Some of them are just ridiculous. Grown men sitting in their bedrooms shrieking about video games. What's that all about.

I stand by my initial response though, op. You are being precious and naiive to think your child doesn't know what "tit" means or that he shouldn't be targeted by abuse prevention advertising (but you're not very clear on that part).

I'm not sure someone saying "he's a right tit" would be allowed on adult adverts?

I think they're trying too hard to access the teen market.
