Wow HelenaDove, that's absurd! That heating contractor isn't the greatest but honestly, when you keep having to pay for call outs to a boiler repeatedly breaking down, just bloody replace it!! Really can't understand how something so essential can be left that long for anyone, let alone an elderly couple.

It is, sadly, quite common for frail older people to die when they are moved. :( This is why we try to secure long-term care home placements for them ASAP and discourage families from agreeing to a certain home while waiting for a "nicer" home.
