More of a WWYD I guess. So, letter arrives from DVLA addressed to someone who doesn't, and hasn't ever, lived here. Address is correct right down to exact spelling of my (slightly unusual) road name and postcode. Anyway, it says his direct debit has failed and so his car's not currently taxed [hmm] but surely he'd know that? as the money's not gone out his bank account. I know I could seal it back up and return to sender as I opened it very carefully (year's spent opened XH post not gone wasted [wink]), but don't see what they can do about it as he just doesn't live here, and this is obviously the address he's registered his car at [blush] so am also more than slightly peeved that he's done this. Should I send the letter back? or just bin it? Am out this evening so can't reply immed, but await the wisdom of the MN jury.
