(Just for the absence of doubt this is a silly thread)

It's been a few years since I watched it but iirc the most demanding thing the doc ever did was stick a plaster on. The nurse stood round and chatted. And picked up the little girl from granny Murray. One memorable episode had the doctor all stressed out because some of the hospital signs had fallen down. Is it any wonder our young people of today don't realise the strain a and e is under and think you pop in when you have a particularly bad case of the hiccups?
Or aibu? My youngest is now six, have things hotted up in whatever the place was called? Are they doing any real work yet?

Surely that's not the normal treat for a horse with a broken leg!

Nope, normal treatment would be to shoot it.

And those Octonauts... dispatching high tech submarines and multiple personnel to rescue a depressed hermit crab. Outrageous waste of taxpayers' money.

Exactly mica!
Yes good point about octonauts :)

To be fair, let's play does show the terrible fate of the NHS after cuts. No doctors, untrained nurses just walking off the street into the the wards and given a ward full of patients.

My brain has been sucked out and replaced by CBeebies. I sing theme tunes without realising what I'm doing. In public. Without dd.

I hold Granny Murray and bloody Miss Hoolie and the like responsible for my choice to have only one child. I simply could not go through that a second time. If only the Chinese had had the Pontipines, they'd never have ended up in the mess they were in eh?

As my one and only is now 12, cbeebies is but a distant nightmare, but Archie was a theology student in real life apparently. (I am now wondering if everyone in Balamory was a real person? Surely Miss Hoolie's penchant for nappy content green can't have been free will?)
